Deploys 1: deploy history

The deploy history of a product: version, what changed, who shipped it and when, how it ended in words, one environment at a time, the live version marked, and a confirmed rollback to any earlier version that succeeded.

State

The normal view. Pick a state to see what the block shows while it loads, is empty or fails.

Open in v0 (opens in a new tab)

Installation

$ pnpm dlx shadcn@latest add @ballmac/deploys-1

Usage

Example: deploys-1-demo.tsx
"use client"

import { Deploys1 } from "@/components/ballmac/blocks/deploys-1/deploys-1"

export default function Deploys1Demo() {
  return <Deploys1 onRollback={() => new Promise((r) => setTimeout(r, 600))} />
}

States

Pass state and the block does the rest: skeletons that match its layout, a clear empty message, an error you can retry, and announcements for screen readers.

  • Loading

    Skeleton rows under the real heading, announced as loading.

    state="loading"
  • Nothing deployed yet

    Says nothing has been deployed yet; emptyState sets the copy.

    state="empty"
  • Could not load

    An alert saying nothing was rolled back or changed, with Try again (onRetry). A rollback that does not start says why.

    state="error"

Dependencies

Use with AI

Deploy history. <Deploys1 deploys={[{ id, version, message, author, time, environment, status: 'success' | 'failed' | 'rolled-back' | 'running', duration?, commit? }]} onRollback={(deploy) => Promise} />. The first environment shows at first; a control switches. The newest successful deploy per environment is Live; only earlier successful ones offer Roll back to this, behind a confirmation naming both versions. With the shadcn MCP server set up (guide), ask your agent:

Add the Ballmac UI Deploys 1: deploy history (@ballmac/deploys-1) to this project with the shadcn MCP, then use it where it fits.

Use it for

  • A release page where people check what is live and go back if needed
  • An audit of what shipped to each environment

Not for

  • The stages of one deploy; use pipeline-1
  • Changes to settings; use audit-1
